I TASTING
I The nose perceives clearly the toasted notes accompanied by licorice, cocoa, fruit in alcohol and pear scents. Most of the flavors of this beer are produced by selected yeasts (Belgian abbey). The saturation of CO2 is high (6.5) and this cause a rich cap of foam that lasts very long. In the mouth, the first feeling is warm and full and then makes way to toasted notes offering - like the nose - sensations of liquorice and cocoa. As the beer become warmer, this aromas evolve in prune, fruits in alcohol and vanilla flavors in the end. JBlack is an important meditation beer and it's perfect for the long winter evenings, also with a good cigar. It goes well with raw fish, shellfish, blue cheeses and desserts.
